Challenge:

Create a logo for a newly established online marketing firm.

Approach:

The logo for this new established online marketing firm, was designed from the start to reflect the local market which would be its focus. Nothing is more closely associated with St Louis Missouri than the gateway arch, thus it was incorporated into the logo design. The white color with light gray shading is meant to give the impression that while the primary focus may be online marketing the principles which guide this agency are timeless and solid.

Results:

While it was white in color in its final treatment it began life as all of the logos I’ve created as black and white. It doesn’t loose anything by being black, indeed it still communicates its desired message while proving to be versatile enough to be used in a variety of media.
