Gator and Mudcat Logo

Challenge:

Create a logo that communicated the gritty earthiness of this musical duo.

Approach:

A logo for musicians whose styles combine the best of blues and rock n’ roll to create a style all their own. The alligator and the catfish are in relationship to the two musicians’ names. The worn look of the text is meant to communicate that this musical duo has a well aged style that is classic yet approachable.

Results:

The logo for Gator and Mudcat has been in use from the inception of their website and is versatile enough to be used in a variety of settings.
